Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Chemistry Analyst

Reporting to: The Director of Outsourcing.

Experience / Qualifications

  • A level 8 degree in Analytical chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry or other related qualification is required. Industrial experience in HPLC using Empower a definite advantage. 
  • Strong documentation skills are required.
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be motivated, focused and technically strong.
  • A strong team player is essential. 
  • This role would suit a recent Graduate or an Analyst with 1-2 years experience.

Training provided in the following techniques:

  • cGMP/Data Integrity training on all aspects of a Laboratory Quality System including gowning, laboratory safety, completion of records/correction of errors, deviations, out of specification results, calibrations, reference standards, recording of quality data as per cGMP.
  • HPLC – Waters 2695 HPLC with UV Detector,
  • UPLC,
  • TOC,
  • Wet Chemistry,
  • General laboratory duties – housekeeping including clean bench policy, glassware cleaning and washing, waste disposal, calibration of balances daily and calibration of auto-pipettes on a weekly basis etc.

This position is a permanent full-time role. Applicants must be eligible to work in the EU.
