The Process

Within the Analysts on Contract Department at CLS, we have a dedicated number of staff which CLS contracts out to both private and public industries; these people are predominantly skilled analytical chemists and microbiologists. CLS have been supplying analysts on contract to pharmaceutical and medical device companies since 1995. Our contract analysts have a high level of awareness of all relevant standards which are not limited to but include IMB, FDA, ISO 17025, & ISO 9001:2000. All our contract analysts are trained in all leading technologies and methods and are subject to proficiency testing following successful completion of training. Our extensive in-house training programmes and selection processes of individuals have allowed us to supply highly skilled motivated individuals with a diverse mixture of talent on a contract basis. We have continually exceeded our customers’ expectations with our responsive, personal service and with the skilled dedicated CLS contract individuals that we deliver. CLS liaise on a regular basis with our customer to ensure productivity and accuracy of supplied analysts. Our understanding of our customers’ needs has allowed us to supply talented individuals with an aim to deliver the highest level of service.

Time: When you have an immediate need for analysts due to timeline pressures or an increase in workload, CLS can supply you with a fully trained and experienced analyst in a fraction of the time it will take to recruit directly.

Training: All our analysts are fully trained and their accuracy has been measured by external proficiency programmes. Each contract analyst has worked in our analytical and microbiology labs within CLS, where their productivity and quality of work has been monitored and inspected before being deemed suitable for contracting. This means that you the client gets a ready to go analyst.

Cost: you only pay for time worked, this means you are not paying for holidays, lunch times etc.

Employer responsibility: Each contract analyst is a full time employee of CLS which means that employer responsibilities lay with CLS.

Training Programme

On successful application, CLS Analysts are trained by our highly qualified trainers, all of whom must hold at at minimum of an MSc and 10 years experience in the industry specific to that area.

Analysts have the added benefit of using CLS state-of-the-art facilities and equipment whilst being trained in their area. The training programme is divided into two key areas Analytical and Microbiological, progress and proficiency are monitored and analysed at regular intervals during training. To be awarded the certificate and to successfully complete the training programme all analysts must meet the minimum requirements of proficiency laid out by CLS customised training programme.
