Led by Dr Andrew Flaus, Lecturer in Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Galway and member of the Biopharma Industry Skills Roundtable, the visit provided students with an opportunity to experience first-hand the vitality, innovation, and potential of biotechnology in Connemara.
We extend our sincere thanks to the University of Galway – College of Science and Engineering for supporting this initiative, and to the students for their enthusiasm, curiosity, and thoughtful engagement throughout the day.
Special thanks also to Regional Skills West and the Manufacturing Excellence Network for their continued collaboration in fostering strong connections between education, industry, and the wider community.
At CLS, we are proud to support initiatives that inspire the next generation of scientific talent and strengthen the future of the biopharma sector.
