Jim Keogh

Non-Executive Director

Jim has more than 40 years of extensive experience in a variety of industry sectors, specialising in aquaculture and laboratory services. He is a trained facilitator and creative problem solver and holds a Higher Diploma in Company Law, a Master’s Degree in Executive Leadership from the University of Ulster and is a Member of the Institute of Directors. He currently works as the European Director for Strategic Affairs for Arramara Teoranta, a seaweed processing company based in Galway and Canada.

He joined Údarás na Gaeltachta (the Gaeltacht Authority) in 1979, the Irish state agency responsible for the economic, social and cultural development of the Gaeltacht regions of Ireland, where he led the Enterprise and Employment Division in attracting Foreign Direct Investment to the region.

He has served  on many boards and interdepartmental task forces and chaired the interagency work group which produced The Enterprise Development Forum Report for the North West Donegal Gaeltacht in 2015.
