Founder & CEO
A native of Clifden, Co Galway, Evelyn’s role is focused on CLS’s business strategy, vision and values, determining the direction of the company, market sectors, service offerings and it’s distinguishing advantages as a supplier to industry.
Director of Microbiology
A native of Donegal, Anne joined CLS in 1998 after working in both the medical device and food industries. She gives guidance to over 40 microbiologists and successfully coordinated CLS’s microbiological sampling and testing services to market leader level.
Director of Environmental Services
Caecilia brings a dynamic leadership style to creating advancements in her area through new innovative method development such as organic analysis. Under her leadership, compliance with ISO17025 was achieved and continues to grow with new methodologies meeting customers’ needs being added year on year.
Director of Analysts on Contract
Colin has worked with CLS for over sixteen years and has managed large projects including onsite client sampling and testing. Colin delivered the methodology in CLS for commissioning and sterilisation of hot and cold water storage/feeding systems for commercial buildings to L8 standard (for the control of Legionella).
Director of I.T.
Ken actively creates new innovative solutions for our customers through project management & development of the CLS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). He has developed a state of the art online reporting function so clients can access reports in real time.
Chief Financial Officer
A native of Galway, Caroline is a commercially focused and qualified Financial Accountant (BBS ACCA) with years of experience across industry and accountancy practice. She joined CLS in 2012 and currently is the head of finance at CLS and oversees all of the company’s requirements reporting to the CEO and Board.
Chief Commercial Officer
With over 20 years of senior management commercial expertise – spanning internationally across multinational and local businesses – Jerry joined CLS in 2022 as Chief Commercial Officer. He specialises in delivering high growth and works with the wider senior team at CLS to identify tailored strategic solutions.
Chyrl is a native of Galway and has worked with CLS since 2015. She is responsible for the development, management and implementation of quality systems including all quality control, assurance and improvement programmes as well as the management of regulatory inspection preparation activities at CLS.
Sharon Deeney Curran
Quality Manager ISO 17025 & ISO 9001:2015
Sharon is a native of Cork, she joined CLS in 2016 as deputy quality manager for the food microbiology department. Sharon has 20 years of experience in the food manufacturing and laboratory environment with industry development of working food safety systems and quality protocols to International Standards.
Business Development Manager
Pauline is from Galway and has been with CLS since 2017 working as lead Business Development Manager for CLS MedPharma. She has a wealth of knowledge across the industry with over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience working with national and international organisations.
GMP Quality Associate at CLS MedPharma
Miriam is the Quality Manager in CLS Medical Device & Pharma Testing and is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the quality system within the company, which includes all quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Senior HR Manager
Joan joined CLS in 2023 as Senior HR Manager with responsibility for advancing all human resource programmes. She brings more than 20 years of expertise to her role, working previously with medical and life science companies in addition to lecturing, mentoring, and providing executive coaching. Joan works closely with the senior team to advance the HR strategy at CLS.
Jim has more than 40 years of extensive experience in a variety of industry sectors, specialising in aquaculture and laboratory services. He currently works as the European Director for Strategic Affairs for Arramara Teoranta, a seaweed processing company based in Galway and Canada.
Terence J. Sullivan
Terry has over 40 years experience at a very senior level in the pharma and medical device industries. He had the chair of the Irish Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association and is currently Chairman of three Irish Companies and is on the board of a number of others in the same fields.
